Instructions

Cook the Beef

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Cook until browned and fully cooked (internal temperature 160°F / 71°C).
  • Drain excess grease.

Prepare the Buns

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice slider buns in half horizontally.
  • Place bottom buns in a greased baking dish.

Assemble the Sliders

  • Spread cooked beef evenly over the bottom buns.
  • Place cheese slices on top of the beef.
  • Add the top buns.

Bake

  • Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and buns are lightly golden.

Add Toppings and Serve

  • Remove from oven and add desired toppings.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest sliders.
  • Hawaiian rolls add a slightly sweet flavor that pairs perfectly with savory beef.
  • Avoid adding sauces before baking to prevent soggy buns.
  • Sliders can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
