Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 clover garlic minced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Mushrooms for an earthy flavor
  • Spinach for extra greens
  • Sun-dried tomatoes for tangy sweetness

Instructions

  • Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and let simmer for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream and Parmesan, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  • Combine: Return chicken to the skillet, then add the cooked linguine. Toss well until pasta is coated in sauce.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan. Serve warm.
