Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble gently in a skillet until just set. Remove from heat.
  • Slice the slider buns horizontally. Place the bottom halves into the prepared baking dish.
  • Layer the cooked sausage evenly over the buns, followed by scrambled eggs and shredded cheese. Add any optional toppings if using.
  • Place the top halves of the buns over the filling.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and smoked paprika. Brush generously over the tops of the buns.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are lightly golden.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For best texture, avoid overcooking the eggs before baking.
  • You can assemble the sliders up to 24 hours in advance and bake when ready.
  • Swap sausage for bacon or ham if preferred.
