1 sheet puff pastry thawed 8 oz brie cheese rind removed and cut into cubes ½ cup cranberry sauce thick, whole berry preferred 1 egg beaten (optional, for egg wash)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 equal squares. Press each square gently into the muffin cups.
Place one cube of brie into each pastry cup.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie.
Sprinkle with nuts or herbs if using.
Brush pastry edges lightly with egg wash, if desired.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until pastry is golden and cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Use firm brie to prevent excess spreading.
Keep puff pastry cold until baking for best rise.
