Add meatballs to crockpot

  • Place frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.

Prepare the sauce

  • In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Combine and cook

  • Pour sauce over meatballs and add pineapple chunks.
  • Cover and cook:
  • LOW for 4–6 hours
  • HIGH for 2–3 hours

Thicken the sauce (optional)

  • Mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  • Stir into the crockpot during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking.

Serve

  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice for a full meal.

Notes

  • Frozen meatballs make this recipe extremely quick and convenient.
  • Turkey or chicken meatballs can be used for a lighter option.
  • If you prefer a sweeter sauce, add 1–2 tablespoons honey.
