A rich and comforting one-pan meal made with tender garlic butter steak bites tossed with golden cheese tortellini. Ready in under 30 minutes and perfect for busy weeknights, date nights, or when you want a restaurant-style dinner at home.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook according to package directions. Drain, toss lightly with oil to prevent sticking, and set aside.
Prepare the Steak Bites:
Pat the steak pieces dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix to coat.
Sear the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Cook 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and allow it to melt. Stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine:
Add the cooked tortellini into the garlic butter sauce and toss to coat. Return steak bites to the skillet and gently combine everything.
Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and enjoy warm.
Notes
Use sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip for the most tender steak bites.
Patting the steak dry ensures a perfect sear.
Add extra butter or a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
