Instructions
Prepare the Chicken
In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Dredge chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Cook the Chicken
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in batches and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Make the Honey Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until the butter melts and the sauce thickens slightly, about 2–3 minutes.
Combine and Simmer
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss until each piece is fully coated in the honey butter sauce. Let it simmer for 1–2 minutes so the flavors can blend.
Serve and Enjoy
Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions. Serve hot with rice, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
Use chicken thighs for a juicier option.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice for a tangy balance to the sweet glaze.
For a spicy kick, increase red pepper flakes or add sriracha.
