Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar for topping
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over the dough.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before slicing into bars. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Add chocolate chips, nuts, or a caramel drizzle for extra indulgence.
Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
